It all began in 1994 when the project of this winery was born with the first wine, Alba, made with Grenache in a mysterious Navarre when the trend was to work with Cabernet and Merlot.
From then until today this group has not stopped growing, adding to its journey the enclaves of Lanzaga in La Rioja, Ladeiras do Xil in Valdeorras, Molino Real (Mountain Wines) in Malaga, Matallana in the Ribera del Duero, Pegaso in Cebreros/Sierra de Gredos and Cago in Toro.
Some of these enclaves had kept their old vineyards, others were replanted imagining as the old winegrowers would have done.
Today, Telmo Rodríguez has 355 small plots, around 80 hectares and works with 42 varieties of native grapes.
Pegaso Zeta is the most delicate, friendly and accessible wine from the Sierra de Gredos. A deep, fruity single varietal Grenache from old vines composed of slate and granite soils on a base of magmatic rock. Its fruity entry with intense and deep flavor tempts you to savor it immediately.
