Two of the regions of highest quality that stand out for the excellence of its wines are the regions of Alentejo and Oporto. We will focus on them for recommendations that we will bring about Portuguese wines.
In the Designation of Origin Alentejo the Adega Familiar Eladio Piñeiro wineries, a traditional winery that produces wines such as The Alibi Portuguese, an excellent red wine made from Aragones, Alicante Brouschet and Cabernet Sauvignon are located. It has aged for 36 months in new barrels and subsequent aging in stainless steel tanks metal that lasts up to 48 months. The aging process ends 6 months after bottling when it begins to be marketed.
Adega Familiar Eladio Piñeiro focuses its production on organic farming based on the principles of biodynamics. Their vineyards are rooted in land slate with very poor soils that are highly beneficial for grapes used in its wines. The results of his philosophy of production are, as is reflected in The Alibi, excellent.
In the Designation of Origin Oporto we find the Bodegas Quinta do Noval, which we know as port wines Quina do Noval Tawny, the Cedro do Noval, Quinta do Noval and Fine Roby and White.
Among the Quinta do Noval fortified wine Tawny we highlight the 40, 20 and 10 years.
