Preparation and Aging:
At 1,000 meters above sea level, in a hidden place in the Iruelas Valley – in the Sierra de Gredos – a small Garnacha vineyard of just 1.5 hectares produces a wonderful grape with which Daniel Gómez Jiménez-Landi makes one of the most vibrant reds on the Peninsula. The soil, which is granitic and with slate components, encourages the roots to work deep. The east orientation – protected from the late heat – and the height give it freshness.
Made in tone of french oak with gentle macerations avoiding the use of pumps and aggressive processes. Grape with 100% stems. Native yeasts. Maceration time around 60 days. Aged for 14 months in a 300 liter barrel. Unclarified and unfiltered.

Coming from a family of winegrowers, Daniel Landi begins his solo adventure in 2012. With a small production, he has managed to make wines that stand out for their flavor and for reflecting the characteristics of the terroir.
