ELABORATION
- Made 100% with medium-yield Tempranillo.
- Fermentation begins with the carbonic maceration system, traditional in Rioja Alavesa, which intensifies the fruity character and juicy sensation of the red wine.
CURIOSITIES The Viña Salceda wineries are located in Elciego, and have become a clear reference in the Rioja Alavesa, a prestigious wine area internationally recognized as a producer of high-quality and traditional wines.
Curiously, Viña Salceda was founded in 1969, only celebrating its 40th anniversary, but over the years it has achieved recognition for the quality of its wines and its wine prestige by developing a complete range of reds. The winery is located in the epicenter of the Rioja qualified denomination of origin, having an ideal climate for the production of its wines.
The soil is clayey-calcareous, ideal for growing Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo. Viña Salceda wines are aged in French or American oak barrels.
