CURIOSITIES
Aldeasoña is produced by Convento San Francisco, a winery founded in 1998 on the remains of the old Convent of San Francisco de Peñafiel (Valladolid) erected in the thirteenth century. The surroundings were rehabilitated to restore the splendour of this precious enclave and to build the necessary facilities for the production of high quality wines.
The winery has modern facilities perfectly adapted to the architectural ensemble that houses them. The new buildings are designed using the style and materials (stone, Mudejar brick and wood) in accordance with the environment and with the old Convent.
