TASTING NOTES
- Appearance: Cherry red colour with violet reflections.
- Nose: Aromas of red fruit and tropical.
- Palate: Expressive, silky and with great balance.
ELABORATION
Elaborated with Tempranillo, Mencía and Souson.Grapes from own vineyards. Harvest and manual selection. Pre-fermentation maceration of 72 hours. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
CURIOSITIES
Massimo is made by Viña D'Mateo, a group composed of Benedetto and Antonio Carcieri, two Italians (of Galician mother), who have their own vineyards in different D.O. of Galicia.
These brothers work with enthusiasm, doing things well. Although they do not have their own winery, they use the help of traditional wineries from all the Galician D.O. to produce wines of high expression. Together with these travel friends they join forces to make known that Galicia is one of the richest areas in wine diversity with their Atlantic Galician Wines project.
