TASTING:
View : Deep ruby red with violet hues.
Nose : Aromas of black fruits, plums, blackberries. Mineral touches of the terroir.
Mouth :E It is fleshy, shows vigor and reveals its Riojan origin with an unmistakable background of tea; concentrated but always in a moist and juicy profile. Soft, fresh and velvety.
ELABORATION:
Ysios is 100% made from the variety Tempranillo . The grapes come from 30-year-old vineyards from 75ha of 8 different plots located in the municipalities of Laguardia and Elvillar.
For its preparation, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28-30ºC, then maceration is carried out with the skins for 25-30 days.
finished winemaking Ysios It is aged in French (65%), American and Hungarian (35%) oak barrels, for 14 months and 12 months in bottle.
CURIOSITIES:
The winery belongs to the group Pernod Ricard Wineries and is located in the municipality of The guard ( Rioja Alavesa ).
