Curiosities:
Bodega Convento San Francisco was founded in 1998 on the remains of the old San Francisco de Peñafiel Convent (Valladolid) built in the 13th century. The environment was rehabilitated to return the splendor to this precious enclave and build inside the necessary facilities for the production of high quality wines.
The winery has modern facilities perfectly adapted to the architectural ensemble that houses them. The newly built buildings are designed using the style and materials (stone, Mudejar brick and wood) in keeping with the environment and with the old Convent.
