TASTING NOTES
- Appearance: Cherry colour.
- Nose: Fruity with very well integrated notes of wood.
- Palate: Rich and fruity, with fine and soft tannins. Fresh and prolonged finish.
ELABORATION
Varieties: 90% Tempranillo, 5% Mazuelo, 5% Grenache.
Aged for 22 months in French oak barrels.
CURIOSITIES
Marqués de Vargas is a historic winery located in the Ebro Valley, in an area known as "Los Tres Marqueses".
In 1989 Pelayo de la Mata, now Marquis of Vargas, built a winery in the Hacienda Pradolagar (Logroño).
It is a property of 70 hectares of clay-calcareous soil with a production of 5000 Kg/ha.
