Production and Aging:

White wine made 100% with Viura grapes. Powerful, creamy and with volume, it harmoniously and elegantly balances freshness and maturity. The obtained musts are fermented in American oak barrels with a very soft and prolonged toasting. After malolactic fermentation in barrels and the assembly of the different wines, the wine is born.

Curiosities:

Azpilicueta was born in 1881 in a small vineyard in Fuenmayor, in La Rioja. Its founder was a pioneer and one of the most important people in the history of wine, Félix Azpilicueta Martínez. That is the origin of the winery. And it's not a small thing.
