TASTING NOTES
- Appearance: Golden yellow with lemon reflections.
- Nose: Complex, fruity and fresh. Medium aromatic intensity.
- Palate: Fresh, structured and with a long and elegant finish. Complex aftertaste.
ELABORATION
Made with Treixadura, Godello, Loureira and Albariño from farms located in the Avia Valley, Gomariz and Concello de Leiro (Ourense). Manual harvest in boxes of 18 Kg.Destemming, pneumatic press with low performance for the benefit of quality. Racking at 15ºC and controlled traditional fermentation at 16ºC.Aging on lees and subsequent maturation in steel tanks with periodic stirring.
CURIOSITIES
Sanclodio owes its name to the winery that produces it, a winery born from the passion and charisma of Jose Luis Cuerda, renowned filmmaker and wine lover. Sanclodio is a tribute to perseverance, the land and viticulture, a project to recover the ancestral native varieties of the Ribeiro.
Sanclodio is a benchmark wine in the D.O. Ribeiro for its quality and elegance.
Currently Sanclodio belongs to Carlos Moro, and continues with the legacy of Jose Luis Cuerda, this being an inspiration for all those who are part of this oenological history.
