CATA'S NOTES
- View: lemon yellow color with green reflections. Clean and glyceric tear.
- Nose: complex, high aromatic intensity with varietal notes of muscatel. Memories of stone fruits (peach, apricot) and white flowers (jasmine, fennel, hemp). Notes of spices such as anise and nutmeg.
- Mouth: velvety and silky entrance. Exquisite acidity that provides freshness and offsets the sweetness of the wine. Long and tasty finish.
ELABORATION
Natural sunbathing in raisin until the grapes dehydrate above 300 g/l of sugar.
Fermentation in stainless steel tank and stop in the same natural way obtaining residual sugar of 147 g/l.
HARVEST DATA
Vigor, balance and health have marked this year 2020. The weather has also accompanied us since the nights of July were very cold and there were only a few hot days. The harvest has been around 6,000 kg/ha, beginning at the beginning of September and ending at the end of October. The wines of this vintage are finer and more elegant than those of an average year in Finca Antigua but preserving their balsamic and mineral character as well as the depth of color and freshness on the palate; just slightly less tannic.
