ELABORATION
Made with 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo).
Manual harvest in boxes of 14 Kg.
Fermentation of 8 days between 23 and 28 ºC.
Maceration of 10 days.
After aging for 30 months in oak barrels of different origins, the wine spends 18 more months in the bottle.
CURIOSITIES
This reserve wine is made by Bodegas Valduero on two of the highest coasts of the Ribera del Duero: at 840 and 900m above sea level.
These are low yield vineyards: 3500 Kg/Ha.
Valduero is a pioneer winery in the Ribera del Duero. Gregorio García Álvarez, industrial engineer, Yolanda García Viadero, agronomist, and Carolina García Viadero graduate in art history and MBA, come together as a team and undertake a long and successful project that gives rise to this winery and its excellent wines.
