Development and Aging

It is a young red wine, made from 100% Tinta de Toro grapes, medium-aged, reaching the market at the optimum moment for consumption. However, it can keep its qualities for two or three years in the bottle.

With the entry into production of young vines the first harvest of Corral de Campanas was developed. It is made from vines with yields of 3 to 5,000 kg / ha. With a shorter maceration (about 10/12 days) and an original aging: 50% spend 6 months in new and semi-new American oak barrels and mainly 50% deposit stays with micro-oxygenation. A visual and aromatically (red fruit) and very sweet mouth step in attractive wine.

The winery Quinta Quietud, located in Zamora, works its 26 Ha. With a special respect for nature. Their wines benefit from organically grown only native red grape, manuring and treatments with herbal teas and minerals. Perform pruning and vintage manually only in the mornings for the grapes are in perfect condition.

A wine of Jean-François Hebrard, a winemaker from Bordeaux origin but with a long and successful career in the Rhone, whom his friends profession did discover the area and fell in love and admired the potential of the terroir of Toro, especially those strains old who, away from the river, minerality and complexity impregnate their grapes having to penetrate deep roots in the ground to get water.
