- View : Color ruby red clean and bright with tones crimson . Dense and abundant tears.
- Nose: Elegant, complex, deep and penetrating with intense aromas of black fruit ripe accompanied by toasted and spicy notes of cabinetmaking , cedar , nutmeg and cocoa .
- Mouth: elegant and delicate , with an input gentle and one step silky , with a pleasant acidity and a full and lasting sensation in the mouth with hints of spices and dark chocolate.
Production and Aging The hole Privileged spot located in Villaester and planted with old Tinta de Toro vines over 50 years old.
We selected for Cartago a small treasure at the highest level, from 700 meters above sea level.
Elaboration The El Pozo harvest took place on September 18 with a first manual selection in the vineyard.
After a complete destemming, fermentation and maceration, with autochthonous yeasts, they were extended for 15 days with temperatures of up to 28ºC.
Breeding 30 months in new and used French oak barrels.
