Development and Aging
Marqués de Murrieta wines are made only with grapes from their vineyards (Finca Ygay) located in Rioja Alta. Whose extension is 300 hectares surrounding the winery. Made exclusively with grapes of the Mazuelo variety. After receiving the grapes, they are destemmed and the must is separated from the grape skin, thus extracting the essence, the first must. This essence is introduced into a stainless steel tank to carry out alcoholic fermentation slowly, at a controlled temperature of 10ºC. Without malolactic fermentation. After fermentation, it coexists with its fine lees for 40 days, giving it density.
