Tasting Note:
- View : This wine has a pale strawberry color, lively, clean and crystalline.
- Nose : Very intense, clean and fragrant with fruity aromas reminiscent of the Tinto Fino variety.
- Mouth : Very balanced, with aromas of ripe strawberries well endowed with flavors, with an achieved acidity-body balance, fresh, smooth, long and elegant.
In the retronasal route, clean, clear fruit appears with some floral hints and hints of wild fruits.
Preparation and aging:
The vineyards are located in La Horra, Burgos. Carried in a glass and on a trellis. Artisanal cultivation, without the addition of mineral fertilizers, herbicides and insecticides.
Curiosities:
Viña Sastre Rosado is a rosé wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero made by Bodegas Hnos. Sastre. This wine is a single-varietal Tinta del País wine.
The grapes for Viña Sastre Rosado come from vines owned by the winery that are between 17 and 30 years old. The plots, which are between 800 and 840 meters, are located in the municipalities of Horra and Roa, in the province of Burgos. The cultivation and harvesting of Viña Sastre Rosado is carried out in an artisanal way, without adding any artificial substances.
Viña Sastre is one of the most important Spanish family wineries on the Spanish wine scene. This was founded in 1992, but its tradition dates back to the '50s.
