Entresuelos is a sweet red wine, with good volume and rounded tannins. It is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes from vineyards located in El Pego and Villanueva de Campeán, in the province of Zamora, on sandy soils and planted in goblet-trained vines. The grapes are harvested by hand.

Nose: Aromas of exotic spices, toast and blueberry jam, followed by notes of graphite and coffee.

Palate: In the mouth it is complex, sweet and balanced, with notes of roasted coffee and minerals, with volume and very rounded tannins, it delights us with a long and tasty finish.

DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN: IGP Castilla León.

WINEMAKING: Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes.

AGEING: Aged in French oak barrels for 6 months.

CURIOSITIES: A small winery producing great wines located in Villanueva de Campeán, some 30 km south of Zamora, in the heart of Tierra del Vino.

The most commonly used variety is tinta de toro, also known as tempranillo. In addition to this autochthonous variety of the area, there are also prieto picudo and mencía, from vineyards of considerable age and low production in Bierzo and León.

The winery owns more than 30 plots of old vineyards, some with vines over 100 years old.

The technical management and winemaking is the responsibility of the New Zealand oenologist Amy Hopkins, an expert in the winery's three varieties and who has been working in the area for many years with good results.
