La Miranda de Secastilla Garnacha Blanca 2019

Viñas del Vero Riesling embodies its innovative spirit in a fresh and subtle white wine. With this Riesling Viñas del Vero shows how well this German variety has adapted to the Somontano terroir. The result of these vines and the careful winery process is a cheerful, citric and floral white wine. The grapes are harvested by hand and at night to avoid possible oxidation of the grapes as they are not exposed to the sun's heat.



TASTING NOTES:

Sight: Greenish yellow colour of great luminosity.

Nose: Citrus and floral aromas emanate from a fresh background, as indescribable as it is elegant.

Palate: In the mouth it has a smooth entry, followed by an explosion of flavours. It has an enveloping, long and full aftertaste.


APPELLATION OF ORIGIN: Somontano.


WINEMAKING: Made with the 100% Riesling variety.


AGEING: Aged for 5 months on its own lees in stainless steel tanks.


CURIOSITIES: In 2011, the appearance on the market of its first vintage was an event in Somontano. The grapes that Viñas del Vero used to make this Viñas del Vero come from the Pago Los Olivos, an area with a high concentration of limestone soil, deep and not very fertile, located at an altitude of 405 metres above sea level. Only the best fruit was selected from its limited-production Riesling vineyards.
