Ví de Glass Riesling 2020

Gramona Vi de Glass is an ice wine that was created in 1997. Today, after years of research, this sweet wine is made with two freezing chambers that operate at -15ºC with the help of liquid nitrogen. This improves the freezing of the grapes, which makes the process faster and more homogeneous.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: pale yellow with bright reflections.
Aromas: very expressive, citrus fruits: mandarin and orange peel. Loquat, peach in syrup. Orange blossom on a subtle background of honey and aromatic herbs, rosemary and thyme, mint.
Palate: light and friendly entrance with a great presence of fruit. Refreshing finish that balances the sweetness and invites another sip.

Vineyard and Elaboration

The must is fermented in stainless steel tanks for 2 and a half months. This fermentation lasts longer than normal due to the high concentration of sugar. The result is very concentrated fruit wines, sweet and refreshing at the same time.
