Roger Groult Cidre Grand Cuvee is a cider made from different varieties of sweet and sour Pay D'Auge apples. It is also handcrafted and unfiltered. It is harvested by hand. Produced by Roger Groult in association with Cyril Zangs.
TASTING NOTES:
Sight: Bright golden colour with very good effervescence.
Nose: Very fine and fruity aromas of quince, oats, vanilla, caramel.
Palate: The palate is elegant and has a good balance between substance, freshness and lightness. Notes of lemon, quince and a touch of cinnamon.
DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: Calvados (France).
WINEMAKING: Made with different varieties of bittersweet apples.
AGEING: Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels.
