The name PignaColusse derives from the resemblance of the bunch of the fussy cone, Colusse instead is the cadastral name of the vineyard. Autochthonous red Friulano, fermented for 2-3 weeks in wooden vats then aged in small new oak barrels for 24/30 months and marketed at least 4 years after harvest. Garnet red impenetrable, the nose dry plum, cocoa, fire stone. The palate is broad, robust, with ample sweet tannins. Excellent potential but too young, to forget in the cellar.
