Tasting note:
- View: cherry red with purple hues
- Nose: Contains fruit aromas such as blueberries and cherries with spicy notes of vanilla and hazelnuts.
- Mouth: It is silky at first, balanced, fresh, correct acidity and a medium tannin.
Production and aging: Made with Tempranillo, Garnacha Tinta and Graciano grapes. A Rioja red that shows personality and the character of the reds in their origins.
The 40-year-old vineyards with silty soils and Mediterranean climate, plus the Mediterranean climate and continental influence are what give the identity of DO Rioja reds. Once the grapes have been selected, they are macerated for 12 days in stainless steel tanks and then they are aged for 12 months in oak barrels, finally they are refined in the bottle before going on the market.
Curiosities:
Terras Gauda enters the world of Rioja through a pilot:
Heraclio Alfaro Fournier . This is how he calls his new Rioja wine. The cellar (
ancient egomei ), is located in Alfaro, where the hangar for Heraclio Alfaro's planes was, and where he owns a 100-hectare farm, of which 40 are vineyards at the foot of the winery.
