Elegant, with a long and silky finish. With a limited production of about 3500 bottles, depending on the availability of grapes of excellent quality.

Appearance: cherry red colour with purple edges and dense teardrop.

Aroma: outstanding aroma of ripe red and black fruits, with special notes of its ageing in French oak barrels. As it is aerated in the glass mineral notes appear (for limestone soils), tobacco and leather, which displays a series of aromas very unusual in the Tempranillo, due to the old age of the vine where it comes from (19th century).

Palate: The entrance in the mouth is elegant, balanced and full bodied. Powerful and sweet, it leaves a pleasant, persistent and intense aftertaste due to the ripeness of its round and noble tannins, but with an acidity.

Elaboration: made from 100% Tempranillo grapes. The wine has been macerated for 20 days with the skins in a 5000-litre tank. After its malolactic fermentation, it is aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels until it is bottled. The wine continues to age in the bottle for 12 months before being marketed.

Aging: 12 months in French oak barrels, 12 months in bottle before marketing.

Service: in order to discover its depth and intensity, uncork and decant one hour before consumption at a temperature of between 16º and 18ºC.

Vineyard: Finca "La Reguilona" situated at an altitude of 800 metres above sea level. Pre-philoxeric vineyards, vineyards dating back to 1900.
Harvest: manual in boxes, made between late September and early October.
Vinification: fermentation in bathtubs with indigenous yeasts, malolactic in casks.
Aging: in new French oak barrels.
Bottling: not filtered or clarified.
