Galician landscape paradigm par excellence, our vineyard Finca Valiñas sits on terraces on the southern slope of Mount Valiñas. From there it dominates the view of almost the entire valley Salnés with the Arosa estuary front and overlooking also the place of origin of the first strains of Albariño on the banks of the river mouth Umia.
With more than 20of old Albariño vines trellises rise forming a carpet away from the receiving soil moisture and the breeze of the Atlantic.An extremely poor soil and shallow sands formed by decomposition of granite print the mineral character of our wines, and thanks to the low performance of these strains can concentrate even more authentic essence so present in Albariño wine from Villa Valiñas.
